All clothing certified as high visibility must have reflective and fluorescent bands on the front and back to ensure 360° visibility during the day and at night. They must also be able to make the silhouette of an individual recognizable even from a distance.
Combining two class 2 items, such as a jacket and trousers, is equivalent to wearing a class 3 garment.
They must also meet the marking requirements of ISO 13688 by displaying the ISO 7000-2419 symbol : High visibility clothing and indicate the washing instructions, including the minimum and maximum number of washing cycles before the garment loses its reflective and/or protective capabilities.
